MYOB – By far, the most popular accounting software in New Zealand. There are a number of versions to choose from that will help you improve your accounting system. It also has a payroll version to help you properly meet your obligations as a New Zealand employer. Quickbooks – Not as popular in New Zealand as MYOB, but it gets the job done. There are a number of versions to choose from, and they have recently launched an online version. Xero – This is an online accounting software package that allows a number of users to access your data. You can can easily import your banking and credit card information, balance accounts, and generate reports. It also allows and processes multi-currency transactions.
